Park Description
Parking security gates and restrooms at District parks will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Parks will remain open during this time.
Mather Sports Complex (MSC) is a regional sports destination, featuring athletic facilities for softball, baseball, soccer, basketball, racquetball and dance, in addition to cardio and weight rooms. The complex hosts a Recreation Center, skate park, and playground as well. All indoor and outdoor facilities are available to rent for league play, tournaments or other events. *To qualify for a group membership rate 10 people from a business, organization or family must initially sign up at the same time to establish the group. Once established, all persons associated with the group qualify for the monthly group membership rate. Must show proof of association with the group (such as I.D badge or business card).
Outdoor Facility Use
Soccer and baseball fields are available to rent. See Building Rentals Available below for scheduling and permit information. Reservations are available though not required for other outdoor facilities.
Plaza Skate Park
Open Sunrise – 10 p.m.
Open to skateboards, BMX riders and in-line skaters of all ages and abilities. Safety gear is strongly recommended. Available to rent hourly, please contact staff at the Mather Sports Center 916-362-1704.
Petanque (Pay-Tonk)
Open Sunrise – 10 p.m.
A French bowling game open to players of all ages and abilities. For more information about Petanque, organized games and tournaments, visit the Club Francais de Sacramento website at www.petanquesacramento.net
